Spa Etiquette

Spa Etiquette

The spa receptionist will coordinate an experience specifically for you. We encourage you to schedule appointments ahead of time to make certain that therapists and treatments are available. Walk-in appointments are always welcome, based on availability.  Valid credit card and phone number is required at time of booking to secure the reservation. Package substitutions and splitting appointments between days or guests is not allowed.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Four hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. With less than a four hour notice, guests will be charged fifty percent of the treatment fee. For no show appointments, the full treatment fee will be charged.

Calmly approaching your appointment enhances your spa experience. We recommend arriving early to utilize the tranquil spa facilities, shower and relax prior to your service. Arriving late will deprive you of your treatment time.  The treatment will end at the scheduled time and the fee for treatment will remain the same. Treatment times are not extended based on late arrivals.

What to wear

Robes and sandals are provided for your convenience. Swimsuits are required for coed pool areas. Undergarments may be worn during treatments if preferred. Professional draping is performed throughout the duration of the service for privacy.

Age requirement

You must be 18 years of age or older to enjoy our treatments and facilities.

The Spa is open 7 days a week with services available from 9am to 7:30pm.

Gratuity is left to the guests’ discretion, but welcomed by staff for excellent service. Customary gratuity ranges from 15-20%. It is easiest to leave the tip at the reception desk, we provide tipping envelopes or you can add it onto your bill at check out.

Quiet, please

To ensure guests experience a tranquil and stress reducing environment, we ask that you speak softly and silence your cell phones and personal electronic devices upon entering the spa.

Health Concerns and Comfort Levels

In order to guide you to the appropriate treatment choices, notify our staff of any health concerns or if you are pregnant at the time of booking. When receiving treatment the therapist will speak with you about temperature, pressure and sequence of service.

Shower (shower and shave)

To protect your health and to allow our products to do their best we recommend that you shower before your treatment. Shaving is not recommended before a scrub, pedicure or men's facial.

Do not feel pressure to communicate with your therapist

In the spa, silence can be golden and provide a relaxing meditative atmosphere. If you feel like chatting we'll chat. But if you want to escape in silence, we wholeheartedly support you.

This is a professional establishment

Our trained therapist and technicians are here solely to help improve your sense of health and wellness. If a therapist ever feels that a client is behaving inappropriately, they are authorized to stop the treatment immediately. The fee for treatment will remain the same.
